For our Laboratory division we are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Technical Analyst for 40 hours per week. Your work as Junior Technical Analyst is varied and no two days are ever the same.

Responsibilities

In this position you will start working in our Conventional Core Analysis group. Within this group you will become responsible for preparing and analysing samples taken to assist the oil and gas exploration industry.

Preparation comprises of obtaining samples from provided core (rock) material and ensuring that the samples are cleaned and dried using the optimum techniques. Once prepared, the analyses can then be performed. This includes the determination of specific properties, for example porosity, permeability and fluid saturation, utilizing the specialist state-of-the-art equipment we have invested in for these services.

Depending on your interest, education and your aptitude, it is possible to progress to senior functions or possibly other laboratory groups.

Most of the time you will be working at our laboratory in Leiderdorp, but there might also be opportunities to work abroad on project basis.

Requirements

- Laboratory or technical education (MBO level 4);
- Interested in technology and capable to work accurately;
- Eager to learn;
- Flexible & professional attitude;
- Good knowledge of the English language;
- Good computer skills (Word and Excel);
- Have team spirit.

We are searching for candidates who are living in the Netherlands and are legally authorized to work in the Netherlands.

1 year, with intended extension to a permanent contract afterwards.
