Details vacature:
- BSc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent;
- Minimum of 2 - 5 year QC related experience, preferably in the offshore industry;
- Experience working within an ISO 9001 quality management environment;
- Familiarity with industry standard codes such as API, AWS, ASME, BS-EN and DNV;
- Strong computer skills (experience with Microsoft Word and Excel);
- Team player with flexible approach to work;
- Good command of the English language, both written and spoken;
- Good communicator;
- Willingness to travel;
- In possession of a driving licence.

Job tasks:

- Familiarise with project QC requirements and advise QC Co-ordinator;
- Determine criteria for inspector qualifications and experience, and select accordingly;
- Develop and maintain QC project specific deliverables;
- Provide input for development of project product specifications and standards for items to be

procured or subcontracted;
- Review subcontractor and supplier procedures and documents, including inspection and test plans and production schedules; monitor QC performance of same;
- Attend pre-production meetings and procedure qualification tests as required;
- Maintain and process project files and documents in view of audit requirements internally or externally;
- Check project preparations and inspect work in accordance with inspection and test plans;
- Process audit/review of as-built data from installation projects or subcontract fabricators upon completion;
- Assess inspector performance on a regular basis and report to the Unit Head QC / Commercial Projects.
