RESPONSIBILITIES AND MAIN ACTIVITIES
Based in the Supply Chain Hub in Zeist headquarters and reporting into the European S&OP Analyst, the role’s prime responsibilities are to provide analysis and insight on European S&OP performance and maturity.
Key Outputs:
• Insight into volume development across Europe
• Analysis of profitability and other financial metrics to support product segmentation
• Analysis of the shape of the product portfolio to support SKU rationalisation and reduction programs
• Analysis and conversion of demand data to allow more timely KPI reporting
• Provide the European non financial S&OP supply chain planning KPIs to support continuous improvement and freedom initiatives
• Provide the European non financial S&OP logistics KPIs to support continuous improvement and freedom initiatives
• Collate intelligence from the each region on reasons for over / under performance versus KPI targets
• Development and implementation of reporting tools to support business processes
• Provide monthly dash boarding to track progression to Keystone compliance
• Ad hoc reporting of trends and analysis of supply chain performance
The result will be a world class S&OP function, by delivering:
• Insight and understanding of EU performance and KPI trends
• Integral business reporting

• Monthly performance packs
• Monthly compliance packs
• Consolidated volume reporting for Europe
• Report availability post month / period end
Size and Level of Expertise:
• High levels of tenacity and strong communication skills are required as the role directly interfaces with a multi-site group, and influences a wide range of senior managers across many functions.
• Highly numerate and expertise in data manipulation are required including advanced knowledge of excel / access and data mining tools (SAP BI / Cognos).
•Thorough understanding of S&OP systems (Manugistics / Mercia / TFM / SAP / BW / CDR / Cube ) and Heinz business process is desired but not essential
Reporting (specify reporting lines and main internal / external relationships):
• Reports to EU S&OP Analyst.
• No direct reports.
• Links with entire EU S&OP Community, region Supply chain finance and business intelligence team.
Freedom to Act:
• The job holder will resolve issues arising through their day to day activities with the relevant individuals.
• Where more senior input is required, job holder will discuss with line manager and generate alternatives and recommendation.
