Our Belgian client is a semi-government institution in the financial area. For their location in Brussels, we are urgently looking for a Junior SQL Server DBA.

Functie omschrijving

It is important that you realise you will be working in a large enterprise where responsibilities are split over different teams. The team you will be working in is responsible for the production and UAT environment of SQL Server:
Controlled acceptation of new databases, changes and fixes
Act proactively to keep the environment running
Resolve incidents and search solutions for problems
Keep documentation up-to-date or create if not available
Follow-up of administration

Functie eisen

You will be working in a team where following values are important:
Communication with team-members, cross-team, suppliers (internal and external ) and customers (internal and external) ,Standards, procedures and processes, Team-spirit, Client minded.
Strong communication skills in Dutch, French and English
Knowledge of following technical domains: Windows Server 2008, Clustering, SQL Server 2008, Database Engine and Integration Services is the focus, Basic knowledge of Active Directory, IIS, networking.
At least 1 year experience in supporting a large SQL Server environment

Business context planned changes outside business hours
5 days a week
+ guard (1 on 4 weeks)
